Punishment
What comes to
your mind when you hear this name "Crime and Punishment" ,may be you
don't know,or you may have heard it before.I will tell you what this name
refers to, it is a great Russian masterpiece,it was written by the genius Dostoevsky.
What I would like to write about is that this novel is based on a very
wonderful theme which is psychological punishment or mental punishment ,okay
what does this mean? this means that anyone can make a mistake anyone can commit
a crime. Mental punishment means that you are torturing yourself by yourself
that you feel regret all the time for what you have done what happened in this
novel is clear from the title that main character the protagonist is the doer
of a crime in the novel but the author doesn't punish him at the beginning or
in the whole course of the novel but he punishes him all the time
psychologically how all the time he feels guilty he thinks he thinks so much he
doesn't stop thinking all the time he feels is that everyone is suspecting him
for his crime he is he is punished the only in the end but how he feels is a
important thing he feels sick that's one thing he feels a tired that's another
thing he feels confused he feels like he is in a mist he tries to kill himself
he tries to go away he tries to escape to forget but he is unable to why because he knows that he is a killer he
committed a crime for money which is a very clear reason for his crime. Actually,
psychological pain is one of the most difficult things anyone can face in life
words aren't enough to heal it nor medicine can too but it needs self challenge
it needs the person who suffers to face it themselves. Another important theme
is this novel is faith in love which means is that when you love someone and
believe in him there is nothing that can change this love.Our protagonist here
found a girl of a golden heart who believed in his kind warm heart and that he
only committed the crime for a reason not only for money, she loved him and
travelled to the place where he was punished only to be with him to be his
comfort and to be the one in his receiption when he gets out.it doesn't matter
which crimes or sins you have done ,what matters is the door of God is open all
the time,you only need to knock.I highly recommend reading this materpiece as
everyone of us can discover different meanings and different aspects.
